Scenoworks 2002   CochraneTheater London

The dance piece narrates the love story of Polia and Polifilo. Polifilo is falling asleep in a quiet landscape. He starts a journey through different spaces followed by two young women. They guide him through the garden of life where he meets Polia, his future love. They decide to sail to Cythera, an island in Greece, to get married, but war and chaos separates them. Polia dies and Polifilo becomes soldier. Years later we see Polifilo waiting in a train station, falling asleep he dreams that Polia returns. Polia kisses him; Polifilo awakes of his dream, seeing that the story was a dream.
The story is narrated by four dancers who incorporate different figures and sexes. The stage works with light-and projection spaces and props which create the different locations of his dream. The projection creates a second level of narration. The sound and dialogues are switching between different angles of the auditorium and involve the public.
